Nation Quietly Agrees Not to Laugh When Someone Says Caucus

BREAKING NEWS out of Iowa today as members of the State and the Nation have collectively decided to not laugh when someone says “caucus”.

With a highly competitive presidential race drawing extra attention to the word, a unanimous decision seemed unlikely.

The tension emanates from the first syllable of said word (caucus), which sounds exactly like the word “cock”, which is often used colloquially to refer to a male sex organ.

However, without much debate or fanfare, it seems as if a tentative agreement as been reached. Whether said agreement holds up as we approach Monday’s caucus remains to be seen.
