Surprising: “Shallow Hal” Least Common Words on Resumes in 2014

The 2014 National Quinnipac Employment Survey results arrived today, including job numbers, hiring demographics, and resume statistics. Perhaps the most surprising fact/revelation from the poll was that the words “Shallow Hal” was the least used words, in conjunction, on job resumes.

“Shallow Hal” usually refers to a 2001 “comedy”, in which Jack Black falls in love with a 300 pound woman. It’s mostly ill-advised fat jokes from that point on. We are still investigating the causes and implications of this finding, so please stand by.
