Hillary Rodham Clinton held a news conference on Tuesday to address questions about her exclusive use of a private email address while she was secretary of state. Criticism has grown since it was revealed last week that Clinton did not use an official government email address during her four years at the State Department.

Worries about intentional lack of transparency were soon quashed as Clinton revealed that she was simply trying to save her progress on Angry Birds. She said using a new government email address on a new phone, would mean that phone would have to use that same email address for her AppStore account (AppleID). But changing your AppleID is “super hard” and, without her old email, would result in her having to start from level 1.

The former secretary of state was quoted, “Again, looking back, it would’ve been better for me to use two separate phones and two email accounts,” she said. “I thought using one device would be simpler, and obviously, it hasn’t worked out that way. But have any of you ever had to replay the Dagobah levels on Angry Birds Star Wars? No you haven’t. If you had, you wouldn’t be asking me these questions.”

A source close to the former Secretary revealed that part of her frustration came from a recent Iphone mishap in which she tried to charge her phone by connecting it to her friend’s computer but then her phone started to sync with that computer and she lost her place on the Temple Run 2 leaderboard.

Dumbuzzfeed contacted Apple, in hopes of clarifying Clinton’s claims, but the representative there wouldn’t stop crying and asking us if we would buy the “Apple Watch”.
